800 people participated in the return of the Austin Game Conference Sept 21-22, 2016. AGC, presented by , included 80 expert speakers across five conference tracks: Design, Business, Production, Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality / Mixed Reality and Audience Participation (Streaming and eSports). Game design legend Graeme Devine, head of games at mixed reality startup Magic Leap, delivered the opening keynote on Sept 21st. Jamil Moledina, Games Strategic Lead, Google Play delivered the Sept. 22nd keynote. We kicked things off the evening before with the Intel Indie Dev showcase. 10 indie finalists were selected to get on stage and pitch their game. They also received demo space at Intel’s AGC expo booth for the next two days. The HTC VIVE VR showcase, also on the expo floor, highlighted 6 indie VIVE VR developers.
