The Austin Game Conference (AGC) – the largest, longest running event dedicated to serving the needs of online game developers – returns to the Austin Convention Center Sept. 21-22, 2017, expanding to seven conference tracks, with the support of game development community and presenting sponsor Intel. Today company announced its first 50 speakers. Austin Game Conference offers critical insight into the development of live, participatory games with real-time engagement between developers, players and spectators.
In addition to a growing trade show floor, 2017 conference tracks include Production, Design, Technical, Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality, Audience Development, Business, sponsored by MoPub, and Audio, sponsored by Dolby. Additionally, AGC and Intel will host the Intel Game Developer Showcase, Wednesday evening, September 20, 2017. Show organizers are expecting to attract upwards of 1,500 participants from across the nation and around the world this year, up from 800 in 2016.
2017 Speakers include experts from across the game industry, including senior developers and executives from TheWaveVR, HTC, SVRVIVE Studios, Cloud Imperium Games, Electronic Arts, Dolby, Riot, ZeniMax, XEODesign, Giant Cranium, Versus Evil, Underminer Studios, Microsoft, Mutual Mobile, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Google and many more.
This year, AGC also launches AGC Connect, a web-based app allowing attendees, exhibitors and speakers to connect and pre-schedule meetings during AGC. Attendees will also be able to manage their profile, create a personal show schedule, ask speakers questions in real time and much more as AGC approaches!

Austin Game Conference
The Austin Game Conference provides critical insight into developing live, participatory games with real-time engagement between developers, players and spectators. The national event delivers information developers need to create and run always-on, run-live, play-live games as a service. Tracks include design, business/production/live, virtual reality / augmented reality and audience participation (streaming and esports). Created in 2003, AGC was acquired by UBM Tech, the owners of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), in 2006. UBM renamed the show GDC Austin and subsequently GDC Online.
