John Young is the Director of Product Analysis and Monetization at Trion Worlds.  At the intersection of system design and business intelligence are patterns that help games make more money while being strongly positive for the players.  John’s long quest to make games more profitable in cool ways include roles at Kabam (Exec Producer), Perfect World (VP of BD & Corp Comms), Gazillion (GM of Online Publishing), as well as Massive/Microsoft, Gala-Net, and Electronic Arts.  John has been making f2p MMO games since 2006, and has produced, signed, designed, run, or otherwise fiddled around with tens of games.

John has an MBA from Columbia, prefers the company of colorful charts or elegant excel models, and is thrilled to be on the dev side after a long career on the publishing side.
